Dr. Tan Nguyen joined Crown Valley Imaging in June 2020. He completed his Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship at University of California, San Diego. He specializes in advanced orthopedic, joint and sports imaging. His experience includes work with professional and other elite athletes. Prior to his subspecialty training, he completed medical school at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and residency in diagnostic radiology at University of California, Irvine. Dr. Nguyen also has extensive research experience, and has spent time doing full-time research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. His previous areas of research interest include advanced magnetic resonance imaging of the knee and computer-aided diagnosis algorithms in radiology. He has published in the top radiology journals and has presented at prestigious scientific meetings including the Radiological Society of North America, the European Congress of Radiology, and the American Roentgen Ray Society. Dr. Nguyen believes that every patient deserves the best quality care incorporating the latest scientific and medical knowledge.
